Waco, TX – On Saturday, April 24, Waco ISD held its annual registration event for the Pre-Kindergarten program at the Waco ISD Stadium, and Imagination Library of Waco was proud to be a part of an event providing opportunities for learning and literacy to Waco’s youngest residents. Officials expected close to 350 children to be registered at the event, which featured a “drive-thru” enrollment due to COVID concerns. Imagination Library of Waco had a table in the festival area to register children in Dolly Parton’s philanthropic program. The festival area also included snow cones, snacks, a fire truck, police cruisers, as well as performances by Waco ISD cheerleaders. Junior League of Waco was instrumental in putting on the event for Waco ISD. We look forward to participating again next year!
