Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides age appropriate books every month, but you may not know that the books are selected to ensure that all children, no matter their background, can relate to the books they receive. On top of books that show children of all shapes, colors, and sizes, the Program sends bi-lingual books, too. Typically, one or two of the twelve books received each year have Hispanic content or are bi-lingual. Not only is it relatable to children in Hispanic households, but it also broadens the horizons of children who do not grow up in Spanish-speaking families!
